Italian Language Curse

Irsina Language is an Italian language course aimed at achieving a “dive” not only in language but also in the culture of the Italian region of Basilicata through extra-curricular activities organized by the city of Irsina and knowledge of the area and to allow participants to discover some of the artistic and cultural beauty, unique in Italy.

 The course is conducted entirely in Italian by native teachers and aims at gradual extension of the written and oral communication skills and the deepening of the various aspects of Italian culture in terms of both linguistic and historical and artistic.

 The course is flexible and is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced. The course consists of three levels of instruction: basic, intermediate, advanced; and the teaching method used aims to create an atmosphere relaxed and sociable in order to make it more enjoyable learning the Italian language.

 The lectures are held in the morning, while cultural activities, excursions and meetings with local people are generally held in the afternoon. In September, it took part in the harvest in one of the vineyards in the countryside Irsina.

 After completing the course will receive a certificate of attendance and level of the cooperative Arenacea, training institution accredited by the Region Basilicata.

Course participants are housed in typical houses of the old town, interacting with the country and its people, discovering the history, art, culture, environment, food and wine.

Breakfast and lunch are included in the price and are held in the bright dining room or outdoors on the terrace of the roof garden of the convent. In the evening you can dine in the convent for € 15.00 including wine or one of the restaurants in the country.

Irsina Language takes place in the charming former convent of St. Francis of Irsina, houses the Archaeological Museum Janora. The building is a convent of the XVI century, situated in a panoramic position in the heart of the historic center of the country.
